内容简介:In this talk, I will first briefly review some concepts of the theory of modular forms, and talk about its recent application in number theory, such as representations of integers by quadratic forms. I will then talk about a geometric-perspective generalization of modular forms, the theory of Borcherds lift, and illustrate its importance in number theory and geometry by presenting some recent results.

报告人简介:2014至今,美国威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校(University of Wisconsin-Madison)在读数学博士,导师杨同海教授;2011-2013新西兰梅西大学(Massey University)数学专业一级荣誉科学学士。主要从事数论,模形式理论和自守形式理论研究,在Journal of Number Theory、Acta Arithmetica、International Journal of Number Theory、Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society、Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications、Journal of Approximation Theory、Journal of the Australian Mathematical Society、Transactions of the American Mathematical Society等数学期刊正式发表论文15篇,数篇论文在审待发表中,应邀到相关领域学术会议做过7次学术报告,获得威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校及梅西大学的多项奖励。
